It feels like the calm before the storm around here (G80 Launch and Everything) but this has perked me up quite a bit!

I really don't like that heatpipe design. It's going to make things very difficult for my watercooling setup. I may go with another board for my new project...

The heatpipes are kind of all over the place. That is very true.

This looks like the board for me. My Water block should fit in nicely amongst the heat pipes.

bla

i still hate the expansion slot layout, no place for my sound card or capture card

why do they still use 1394a? should be about time to move to 1394b.

I agree with them, only stable boards iver had are MSI and ECS, the one ASUS i has used a the Aladin V chipset and i hated it.

Not everyone.:)

This board looks really nice. Hopefully the heatpipes don't get in the way.

Why does it say 1x PCIe 1x slot when it clearly has 2?

look closer, its only 1, that other one is not PCIe 1x, the devider in the middle is in different position, could be some sort of asus only sound card

Agreed, I think it's the slot of the sound card that comes with the board.

it looks like PCIe 1x upside down.

To be honest I really like the heatpipe configuration.:D

I dunno, I don't really like the fact that the heat from the chipset and MCP gets translated to the mosfets.

oooh three PCIe x16 connectors (one is x8 electrical i believe, didnt read it)

that will be nice for nvidia's physx implementation :D
