Can a mod move this to the video card section so that more people can see it? :D

GTXs of course.

Kentsfield and a nice 680i board, I think the ASUS RoG. I ordered a Zalman 9700 also. If this cooler is not enough, I'll have to go back to H2O.

I'll bet that Zalman 9700 will do very well. That thing is freaking huge!!:D

I plan on doing nothing, for the first time I am in no rush to run out and purchase equipment that will not effect my overall gaming.

If you purchase a G80 now, what will it accomplish (man I can't beleive I'm saying this)

All my current games run extremely well on my x6800 and Quad SLI (yes, I need to update my sig)

Until Cyrsis and or another DX10 game is released, I see no reason to run out and waste money (again can't believe I'm saying this) on a product that will not benefit me for another 6-8 months.

Hey I purchased all these the day of launch 6800U EE SLI, 7800GTX SLI, 7800GTX512 SLI , 7900GTXSLI and now I currently have a pair of 7950GX2 in SLI so this is definitely going against my normal "run out and buy it" mentality but hey all my games run very nicely maxed out at 1950x1200 so what's the point and maybe if more of us do this, the retailers will keep the prices around MSRP on release day as well as the OEMs reducing the overall cost of a video card.

I'm even holding off on a qx6700 because my chip still beats that in gaming right now. I guess, I'm getting older and wiser, I will wait for the DX10 and quad threaded supported games to be released. I tired of being a sucker to price gouging and tech that can't be used right now.

Update: fixed my sig and while looking at that, I will be upgrading my MB with a new Nforce board but other then that, I should be all set for the next 6 months (god I can't beleive I'm saying this)

I hope so, it's better than the SI-120. I simply want to get my Kentsfield around 3.5GHz...

zalman is not better then si-120

si-120 with a good fan is un-touchable (maybe by the new si-128)

New case if my P180 order goes through (its on back order).

Other than that, everything should still be the same once my G80 arrives. :D

I've already bought an e6600 that's sitting in an ASRock m/b right now. For the G80 I'll be getting:

New m/b. Probably a 650i. I don't plan on going SLI so I don't really need the 680i. The res on my LCD is 1280 x 1024 so I should be able to run just about any game at a decent clip maxed out w/ at least 4XAA.

New ram. Need mo betta DDR2 than what I have now.

New case for decent airflow.

And last but not least, once the system is completed, new underwear with a larger crotch area. :D

I don't plan to make any changes anytime soon.I will prolly get on of those new Asus 680i boards once thay are available but I can not say I am in any rush to go to any DX10 video card right now.EA pushing back Crysis pretty much made my mind up about that and also the just fact that EA has the rights to Crysis is a bummer.I'll be holding off on purchasing the GTX model ,which I know I'll be getting sooner or later, probably until I have had my fill of Gears of War.

Crysis and UT2007 is the majority of the reason I am upgrading. And with Crysis being pushed back (4 months or so), well...it just sucks.

When should we expect to see UT2007 ? Thats is even further into 2007 than Crysis is it not ? I'm just not getting too hyped with no new games to play.I would be all over it if we could expect Crysis even with the launch of Vista for the masses in January but no crappy EA has gotten it's grubby hands on the property.
