Hey Guys. I am ready for a new monitor and I am looking to get a widescreen preferrably no smaller than 20 inches. I have a Sceptre picked out form newegg(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824112176), what do you guys think? Obviously price vs. performance is a big factor.

I saw someone just got a new dell, how is the 2007WFP? What is the difference between the 2007WFP and the E207WFP? Both are 20' widescreen yet at 2 extremely different prices.

E207WFP (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-5123)

2007WFP (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-4688)

What do you guys think, thanks.

The two main differences are that the E207WFP does not have a USB hub or any of the other connections like Composite etc. So unless you need to have a USB hub etc on the screen go for the E207WFP. I needed the USB hub so I went for the 2007WFP.

Whats a TN panel?

Is a low quality TFT panel (worse than S-IPS in the 2007WFP)

TN are the cheapest lcd panels, all of them have 16.2 million colors with dithering as opposed to the S-IPS or even most IPS monitors which sacrifice a little latency for 16.7 mil. TN tend to have the lowest viewing angles, why choose such a crappy monitor you may ask? well, the TN panels are what got the manufacturers to <8ms response times and originally were "the" gaming displays, but most ppl can barely tell any ghosting on decent S-IPS panels, so most avoid TN panels at all costs :p

I answered your question in the other thread you posted in.

Main difference between the 2007 and 207 == lack of adjustable height stand and extra ports such as s-video and usb hub. They both have vga and dvi connectors however and the same resolution.

Screen is a little different as well, though side by side, it's not a big difference as far as I have experienced.
