Rofl! What a joke. It's like they just wake up and flip a coin to which BS they will tell us next.

I actually believe that people on the "INSIDE" feed Fuad and the rest of his goons false info just to see him post it up in the INQ. It gives them free press. You gotta love those marketing reps!

I think the second post in the that thread sums things up perfectly and is exactly what I've been saying forever. :D

I also hate it when that inquirer uses words like "vole", "Nvidian Chippery", "Yuletide" :retard:

ATLANTIS, SOMEWHERE- In latest news, the G80 will have a time flux capacitor, allowing you to use graphics cards from the future. The pent-core marchitecture is reportedly using DDR 5 memory, and we expect{ Insert random num under 1000 here} megabytes of ram. But this pales in comparison to the mighty apple 2, containing 16k of ram. While we haven't checked( do we ever?) this must mean that it has 16,000 megabytes of ram. and it is priced at a budget range of 50.0 USD ( we didn't check the decimals)It reportedly uses an external monkey on treadmill to generate the nessasary 1 kilometer( we can't do metric) of power needed to supply it, According to our source ( drunk geek sleeping in EB) , Nvidian chippery will mean that this will have 484 pipelines for DX9 ( the up and and coming series of I-pods) but only 4 for DX10. (We didn't check spacing or commas either) While This is unconfirmed, Steve Erwin, the owner of apple is reported as saying;" This is the most inacurate reporting i've ever seen".It will also hava a gpu cappable of doing stuff to things. We are currently investigating these verbs and nouns, but in the mean time, we will pretend as if it is common knowledge and your all idiots who don't get us.

Next Week:
Dells are comming with any keys?
The H3 will have wheels?
G80: a random spouting of BS from nonexistent sources.

WE ARE ALLWAYS RIGHT. OBEY:maxshoot:

Yeah, but we could make up our own news and be just as "valid" as the Inq.

I'd rather have no news than their half-baked, terribly written BS "reporting" that tends to slag NVIDIA, jerk ATI and usually ends up being completely wrong.

Because, regardless of what you say, you KNOW each [H]ardcore users has an insatiable LUST for hardware rumours.

NO. Stop. Dont deny it. You KNOW you do.
So if I made a website a month before the G80 came out a posted that the 8800GTX had 999999 unified shaders and had the potential to implode and suck everything within 5 miles of it into a small black hole before blasting the debris into space, that would be better than nothing?
Nearly spat out a mouthful of milkshake on my 24 inch dell widescreen lcd laughing... luckily i held it in long enough to quickly turn my head and spit it on my 22 inch crt...:captnkill:

I e-mailed Theo Valich at the Inq after he posted an article about how the R600 has more transistors than the G80, and he also mentioned how HDCP is broken on the G80, I also mentioned how the site is horrible with credibility, and he responded with this:
After readinf your e-mail, I just stayed confused at what's going on. HD-DVD playback limited to 540p? How come? I didn't do anything special, but my copy of Superman Returns (weak movie, but at least it exists in Blu-ray, HD DVD and DVD versions) has no problems running at 1080p with HD DVD format as well, with 65% of load on Kentsfield (7900GT with HDCP). Running CyberLink's PowerDVD HD-DVD beta software..

Last time around, AVS-Forum was up in arms over NV40 PureVideo fiasco, and right now, no one is complaining
Regarding credentials of the site, this site broke AMD-ATI, Dell-AMD, Sony-Dell, ATi R600 (and pretty much every past 3D architercture) and countless other stories. I am not sayin INQ is perfect, far from that. But, to send an e-mail with shaky arguments isn't something I will take into serious consideration. You have a point, but that point eludes me at all the offences I am reading.

The last thing I will reffer to in this e-mail is the upcoming 1440p standard. I am seeing a lot of movement in that region, and 1440p could break big-time in 2007/8 timeframe. At least, that's what broadcast people are telling me.

Funny if you ask me, lol :)

Classic INQ.

I've seen some defend them with "They're usually right" - I've always said "Of course - because they just post every possible rumour and variant of the technology in question until it becomes correct!

Nice to see we now have a simple link instead of me having to explain it.

Yep, reporting 400 different versions of a story/scoop/insider info means you do get it right eventually.

I think we should start making up our own rumours and see if we get it right eventually.
