Upgrade Time!

So the past week I got allot of money from selling my old camera and well now officially going to upgrade. :D

I was thinking of getting

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Intel G965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard
OCZ Gold 1GB (2 x 512MB) DDR 800

So basically I will be running off of the integrated graphics for a few weeks until I sell my old system and wait for the next gen GPU.

My question is what’s the difference between the E6300 and the E6400 with the exception of clock speed and if I would see a difference spending a extra $40 on getting it?

The main difference is speed. If you go any higher, go for a e6600. It has the higher L2 cache and is worth it. :)

Well, it won't hurt and why not go for the best since your upgrading and ecspecially if you don't plan on upgrading for a while after this.
