Didn't i tell you guys not to worry? EVGA is a solid company. They would never revoke their Step-up. I'd pay $100 more than the competition just to get an EVGA card. They are just that good.

I'm only going to get the GTS, not the GTX monster like some others that im jealous of on this forums lol. Still it's a nasty little card! Being about equal in performance to a 7950GX2. I wonder if anyone bothered to benchmark these cards with a lower end CPU. Not everyone has a X6800...

This is so sweet that im getting a 8800 GTS for ~$275 instead of $500+. And its not a big deal if I wait a little, im still breaking in my GTO lol.

I purchased EVGA 8800 GTX from newegg.com, would I still able to be part of step-up or do you have to purchase card from EVGA directly? I never tried step-up program from EVGA before.
Edit: It appears newegg.com is approved from EVGA for step-up program... if that's true then yay! :)
