Hi all. I just picked up an 8800 GTX and need a new PCI express motherboard to go with it.

Here's what's important to me:

1) stability stability stability
2) High performance at stock speeds (I don't plan to overclock)
3) Supports core 2 duo (lga 775 socket)
4) Quiet - no loud whirring fans please

Here's what's not important to me:

1) SLI
2) onboard sound or graphics
3) multiple onboard ethernet ports

Any recommendations would be appreciated :)

Thanks!

If you have moee money you can go for the striker extreme which is a whipping 400. (Damn)

IF your looking not to spend so much then here is a cheaper one.

This looks nice, but it's SO new...are there any reviews or does anyone have any personal experience with it who can vouch for it being stable and relatively bug free?

I guess since it's made by evga, I could expect that I would get good stability with the evga 8800 :)
