Hello

my config :

Diamond K9N
Two MSI 7900 GT 256 MB cards with SLI

All was working perfectly. In the control panel of NVidia I had turned on the SLI. But since I have installed the latest drivers, the SLI option no longer appears both in the new NVidia control panel and the previous one...

I was using 91.47 and I could turn on/off SLI
I am now using 93.71 and the SLI option is nowhere.

I have removed the previous driver including profiles when it asked if they should be deleted. Then I did reboot. And installed the new driver.

Anyone got an idea ?

I did further tests.

As soon the previous driver is installed, the SLI is detected on boot
and the nvidia control panels asks me if i want to switch to SLI immediatly.

New driver does not detect there is SLI available.

I have tried two things :

- installing previous 91.47 drivers then 93.71 with overwrite
- removal of 91.47 + reboot + 93.71 install + reboot

No change.

When using 91.47 :

When using 93.71 :

Did report this problem to NVIdia.

That might explain why performance is so poor with a 7950 GX2. Because it would be a 7590GT. Bleh.

Got an answer from NVidia.
They advised me to get to previous driver version until this issue
is resolved. They're working on it.

I've not got an SLI option on my 7950GX2 on the old panel with 93.71 xp64. It is there in the new control panel though (and activated by default).

I was using 93.xx..what eva the official drivers were since people said they work fine/etc/etc...after awhile..these drivers just stop SLI from working..went back to 91.47..nwn2 picked up even more fps as well..i just added the nwn2 profile
