Yep 8800 GTX at 2200MHz memory speed. Can anybody calculate the memory bandwidth of that?

105.6Gb/sec I belive..
2200*384 /8 = 105600 Mb/sec

That could be dangerous for the RAM on these cards. It's already clocked pretty high.

Very nice, but how high did you get on the core? :p

Yeah no artifacts. On the core alone I could get 644, but with the memory at 2200 I had to lower the core to 630 to get it to work. I was in Oblivion on a GPU bound scene using 1600x1200 16xQ w/ transAA for about 30 minutes at 630/2200 and no problems.

I probably won't use it maxed like that though for the most part. Probably use 2140 or something.

What did you use to clock it?

Anyway, I have done this kinda thing before and then 2hrs into a session I get the blockies or sparklies. How long have you stressed it at this level?

nTune. I;ve been messing with it all afternoon. But I did run it at those settings for a good half our or more. I'm sure I'll back it down a bit for gaming, no need to run it that high.

Actually...

103.1125 GB/s

(2200*384/8) = 105600 MB/s

Divide that by 1024 to get GB/s so...

105600/1024 = 103.125 GB/s
