It artifacts and freezes up after I play something for awhile. What could be the problem?

Return it, probably a faulty card. BFG has awesome customer support so it shouldnt be a problem.

Yeah, I had the same problem with BFT of Fry's Electronics. I returned it and got eVGA.

It also *beeps* when I turn it off. BFG tech support says that my PSU might be the problem, which is 460w with dual 12v Rails @ 17A each.

I checked and my resistor is 68C. Can anyone with a healthy card confirm this article and check to see if they have a 40c? You need a magnifying glass.
