Why what isnt? Do you have 4x4 benchies yet? We wont know till its released.
You sure seem to know how awesome it is and how much it's going to pwn Intel when AMD can't do it now with two cores. 4 cores != faster.

not from what ive seen, and intel took shortcuts to make this processor, its using intels good old paste that we saw with the pentium 4s, how well did that work out?

it worked out great... pentiums were outdated when they designed that type of implementation... that "paste" idea is similar to a 7950 GX2... how well did that work out? you have to realize, it doesn't actually really hurt performance, both types of designs have advantages... this way will definetly provide much better performance than AMD's 4x4... "dual socket, dual core" .... atleast intel's kentsfield doesn't have to go through any external channels for the cores to communicate

In intels case 4x4 would be a lot slower, but with HT it should be just as good as the non-native quad core intel chips.

I wonder if amd has figured a way to get more performance out of that HT link, it wouldnt suprize me if 2 of the FX74 out performed intels non-natvie quad core.
