Yeah I noticed this also, Are you using the 97.02? because these are the ones I got it with. I also noticed HORRIBLE performance at times (Klieners Lab gave me 10FPS performance).

yeah iam useing the 97.02
i just read the release notes. there is a mention about fogging being different in source games. it is to be fixed at a later date.
i havent played though the lab yet i just reinstalled it but my fps was around the 130-200 mark all the way through the time i was playing (about 30 minutes)
oh well, i guess i have to play the waiting game if i want to see it fixed. maybe if i get really luckey they will fix beyond good and evils 3fps water issuses. but i doubt it
I'm also getting it in Fear when forcing 16xaa in the control panel

I also saw the fogging in HL and some HL: Lost Coast. It was worse in HL though. This can happen with new hardware. It will undoubtedly be fixed in a new driver.

i get it in DOD:S, only some maps tho, however i dont get in HL2 Lost Coast or CS:S. havent checked HL2 yet.

I got it in Lost Coast and CS Source, I just wanna confirm its the same thing as everyone else. Its when objects like Boxes and Houses in the distant look foggy or faded but other stuff around them doesnt correct?
Hey, I noticed something like this is Dark Messiah too (Source Engine). I switched to the 96.89 drivers after getting grief with the 97.02's and I noticed the fog issue was gone. I thought it looked cool, but it also looked a little unnatural at the same time. I hope the next beta driver fixes this issue and the problems with Splinter Cell Double Agent.

That's correct, anticitizenzero. Boxes and tables are "greyed out" or foggy while everythink else looks nice. I knew it was most likely a driver problem and not a problem with my card.

I really hope there is a new driver by tuesday. :o
