Both of my GTX cards rise to 80c underload, My system have really good Danger Den water cool setup with Armor Case.

how do these BFG Watercooled GTX perform ? worth going from aircooled to water cooled ? I have plenty of bucks to spend. Have anyone got one yet ?

Why don't you get the first one and then tell us how it is. :p

a premium of 100 for a waterblock i wouldn't pay that much 80C an't that bad underload for a video card. With water cooling i would say you will get temps about 60C.

No, but I'll be buying the BFG blocks once Dangerden puts them up for sale. They're sweet as hell.

U mean BFG GTX comes with Dangerden waterblock or Dangerden will make one for em? . If its Dangerden Block its must buy for me bcuz I am using DangerDen Kit and I simply love it.

BFG G80 with Watercooler comes with DANGER DEN Waterblock & you can except it to be good quality Block. I say go for it if price doesnt bother you.

I'm starting to think BFG was selling these on spec.

I ordered 2 of these on 11/09 (day after launch) and no one can tell me the status of my order still today.

I've even tried contacting BFG.

I hope I get them before they release R600...

EDIT: Maybe I'll get them by the time Nvidia releases a Vista driver for them...

I have the WC'd BFG retail version; idle is 44C, load 56C. I also have a CPU and chipset block in my loop.

I bought 2 EVGA 8800GTXs and slapped the Danger Den waterblocks on them, and right now as I type this, GPU1 idles at 43 degrees Celcius, and GPU2 idles at 46. In my opinion, these blocks are worth every penny. Installation is straight forward, so you don't have to wait for the BFG watercooled card to become available. Just order your blocks from Danger Den and mount them on any 8800 series card.

^ Does eVGA allow you to remove the stock HSF w/o voiding the warranty? If not, that would be one reason some people might want to go with the retail watercooled version like I did. I know that BFG doesn't and several other vendors don't; there's a sticker over the screws that hold on the HSF on the back of the card that can't be torn.

That was a factor in my decision; I can H20 the card and it's still under warranty. These cards are so new when I got mine that I wanted to have that peace of mind.

My 8800GTX block should be showing tomorrow. I'll end up having that, the CPU, NB, & SB (MCP) all in the look with a 240GTS rad and a single bay res pushed by a DD12D5 pump.

Cannot WAIT to see the temps and hear the silence. :D
