Hi, dose anyone know if there is a program to run StarCraft windowed?

Running my computers resolution at 1280x1024, i cant live wtih out it, since SC refuses to have diffrent resolutions, i wonder if there is a program, or a command to make it run in a window.

mainly so i can chat online too hehe.

*when i boot linux i play it in a window so i know its not a 'problem'*

Does it have any ingame setting ?

How about searching inside starcraft.exe for commands , try -w , -window , or whatever

Browse throu any config file it have there could be a setting.

Don't have Starcraft installed right now so this is all i can think of.

I think starcraft only runs in 8x6..

I wish it had a resolution option..

If you find out let me know Glowstick..:afro:

Hm, ill try the idea of searching the exe, it dose not have config settings nor a config file.

Blizzard games are notorious for haveing no/low config settings, they just work, and work well!

Just 640x480(what sc runs at) is really really old school ; )

Diablo2 doesn't work very well. memory hog and several performance issues in that game. although in one of the patches memory management improved by quite a bit, there are still many things lacking with that game performance-wise.

StarCraft does indeed run at 640X480 :( i don't think there are any command line options in StarCraft. first big Blizzard game that featured them was D2.
