Windows Media 9

I cant believe how much better this sounds over winamp. I always hated WMP but for some reason version 9 sounds really good compared to winamp. I used to live by winamp until yesterday. WMP 9 plus the shek skin = new mp3 player for the PC.

And I hate MS apps like these..:eek:

I tried WMP 9 for my Mp3 playing tasks just yesterday so it's funny you should bring this up. :)

While I like the program and the fact that you can minimize it to its own little tool bar, I don't like the way it handles playlists compared to Winamp3, which is what I've been using for the past several weeks.

The build of WA3 I'm using (3.0c) has been remarkably stable and sounds pretty darn good to boot.

Winamp2 with the MAD plug-in sounds better than WA3 anyway...especially depending on the capability of your sound card.

WA3 = junk with exception to the skinning feature. that's it's only redeeming quality as far as i can see.

I totally agree saturn..I dont like the features but the sound beats the wa2/wa3 with the mad plug-in IMO..Atleast on my comp.

For some reason I cant save or use EQ settings on WA-3..I dont know why..

You really must clean your ears out ;)

Try Foobar (http://foobar2000.hydrogenaudio.org/) use kernal streaming, and 24bit if your card supports it, no flashy skins with this, just good sound.

Always check for updates, after just posting the link, I see there is an update since last week :eek:
