I plan on getting a new PC with the following items in it:

Coolermaster Stacker 830
PC Power&Cooling, Turbo-Cool 1KW-Quad SLI 1000W
Asus P5N32-E SLI 680i MB
E6600 Dual-Core, 2.4GHz
Zalman CNPS9500 for CPU
CORSAIR, 2GB (2 x 1GB) XMS2 PC2-8500 DDR2 1066MHz CL 5 SDRAM
2x8800GTX video card (undecided on brand)
150GB WD Raptor, SATA 150MB/s, 10K RPM
Samsung SH-S182M Black 18x DVD±R/RW Dual Layer Burner w/ Lightscribe
Sony DDU1615-B2S Black 16x DVD-ROM
Mitsumi 1.44MB 3.5" Floppy Drive
Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional Series

First I wanted some opinions on the build itself.

Second, if I got a E6600 what kind of overclock could I expect with air-cooling and default voltage? Are you guys doing this my changing the multiplier only or a mixture of that and FSB? I am trying to decide if it is worth saving a few hundred bucks to get the E6600 as opposed to the E6700.

Thanks!!! :D

Wow, that certainly is on kickass build there. I would reccomend evga for the video cards. EVGA FTW.

I got the eVGA NF68 680i mobo for the support. They are a lot less obstinate about replacements than Asus. eVGA support is very solid. BFG is too.

go with eVGA for graphic cards... also for the mobo....

also go with the 9700 for the CPU heatsink

Other than that it will be a great build....
with the E6600 and a 9700 you will get 3+ probably like 3.4 ish+
