View Full Version : Clicking monitor problem with 4125 driver

I just installed the new 4191 driver, and it seemed to work fine. However now when my monitors go into sleep mode my first screen starts loudly clicking every second or so. This does not seem like a good thing. (especially since it doesn't even click when it comes out of sleep)
I have two TNT2's, one running a viewsonic 17 inch and the other running a supermatch 20" (the one that clicks). I am running 2.4.20 kernel on a duron 1 Ghz.
Has anyone else had this problem? I guess if I can't find a solution I will downgrade. Thanks in advance.

There is no 4125 driver...

There's 4191, and there's 3123. But there's no 4125.

4125... what 4125?

OK, that works. :p

As to your actual problem, ...

I'm not really sure. Maybe it's something with APM? I know others have complained about the way APM interacts with their drivers, although I don't have problems. Granted, I'm still running 3123 (for other reasons -- the libs in 4191 won't link at runtime on this machine).

Is the loud clicking maybe the monitor changing resolutions? Or does it sound different than that?
