Hi, I have a CoolerMaster eXtreme Power 380W PSU.

The output specifications are here:

Will it be able to power up the 7900GS? I have two HDDs, one DVDRW, a tv card and a A2ZS.

I am currently using a 6600GT AGP running at 525/1050 with no problems at all. I am buying a PCI-E mobo btw.

Will I have troubles running the 7900GS?

Thanks

Anyone?

It will be OK, cause 7900GS is using only 43W and 6600GT even more - 48W.

16 amps on the 12v is NOT enough. IIRC the 7900GS requires 20 amps at least on the 12v rail. I would recommend at least a quality brand 400 watt PSU.

Is the 20amps for the whole system or graphics alone?

Because if 20*12 it means that the graphics card alone requires 264 watts?

For whole system, but they are not writing the truth.
I assure you, that your PSU will handle 7900GS without problems.
