I have finished running 3dMark and was shocked with the results. I have the following PC:

AMD Athlon Dual AM2 4200 processor
2 GB Ram
BFG 7900 GTX

Anyhow the graphics results are good but the cpu-test is crap, when the cpu test appears it runs at 0-1 FPS ???? Why please help. I have a good cpu and its overclocked to 2.9 GHz. Can someone please help.

I have a fairly better (and somewhat OCed) CPU and I still go in the 0-1 FPS range. People with X6800 CPUs overclocked to 4GHz still have difficulties surpassing the 1 FPS in that tests. It's just the usual crappy mode that a CPU manages the highly specific functions needed to do this kind of complex 3D rendering.

Yeah no CPU but a 10 core 10GHz processor will be able to make that even remotly smooth.

That's normal, you're fine, don't worry about it. What was your final score?

I'm lucky if I get 2 fps in that test lol (lee63)

lol yeah - I've got a q6600 and I got 3637 Marks. It was weird to fly through the previous tests only to get to the slideshow that is the cpu test. I did hit 2 FPS at times though. :D

CPU1 - Red Valley 1.245 FPS
CPU2 - Red Valley 1.7 FPS
