Wii Component Cable

For myself I noticed a huge difference when using the component cables for the gamecube over the lame composite (rca connection). As far as I know the component cables should be released very soon.

So in other words we should probably all shut up about the graphics till we get the right cable.:D

Now I'm not saying this is going to be an incredible increase, but it will provide progressive scan.

By the way I picked up Zelda, Rayman, and Excite Truck today. Unfortunately the Wii itself is sold out. I should have one soon though.:D

I was playing Wind Waker today on the Cube and I still love how the Zelda looks.:D

Plus I figure if you want graphics play PC, 360 or whatever else. The new gaming experience is enough for me.

I was just at the mall and Nintendo had a big Wii display set up. This is the first time I have seen the Wii in action.The graphics were nothing to cry about. Yes, they don't compare to the 360 or PoS3, but they still look decent.

I was playing the Wii sports bowling game using the wireless remote controller to throw the ball. It was a blast. I used to bowl a lot when I was younger (yea, STFU I know it's lame) and after using the wireless remote, I can tell you that it is bang on for how the game reacts to your throw. I was putting harsh hooks into my swing like I do when I actually throw a real bowling ball, and the game was dead on. I was afraid the bluetooth motion sensing wireless remote was going to be inaccurate or sluggish, but it seems to be right on the money. I am definately going to pick up a Wii when more arrive in the store..................and then I am immediately going to pick up Zelda. :)

They separate the color channels, giving a clearer image. Progressive scan is just the icing.

If you got them you're one lucky sob. I called Nintendo and they're sold out till January :thumbdwn: I've been trying to snag them off ebay but all the prices average $170, some have sold for $350, that's absolutely ridiculous, you could buy a wii for that.

Got my Wii today :) Waited in line at best buy this morning, I was #37 in line and they ended up having 65 in stock. Havent gotten to Zelda yet but we set up a bunch of Mii's and played some Wii Sports ,Im very impressed so far and it looks great on my CRT HDTV via 480p / Component cables.
