What is a e-mail address for contact support for Nvidia Nforce 2 drivers team?
I would just like to ask them some questions if they know about how there IDE driver stinks and if they know..
Yeah, and I'd like to ask 'em about the staticky sound that comes out of the otherwise stupendous SoundStorm during gaming....
Cheers,
JND

That comes from when you have effects put into the system... otherwise that is all I know..
I did do this though..

Excellent, thanks!
I don't actually have any of the effects enabled...just straight audio. The audio in certain games (Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon, most notably) degrades into a staticky mess after 15-30 minutes.

There're new drivers on Windows Update (2918, and 2922, the latter of which will install with some fudging)
___
I expect another driver pack in April, going on their typical 3 month window. 1.13->2.0 was the only time they missed that significantly.

Yah, thanks! I've been following the (multiple) threads on these over at NForcersHQ, but nobody's really commenting on their worth. Only the 2918s are available for W2k at the moment, but I'll give them a try some time this weekend.
Cheers,
JND

Im wondering if heat has anything to do with this static problem. I have a passive HeatSink on my Southbridge and my case is cooled very well and i have never heard any static myself.

They fix a significant bug I was having. I don't know what else they fix.
