RAM for my C2D EVGA 680i

I'm finally building my C2D rig next week and had planned on some plain ol' OCZ DDR2 800 but now that the 680i supports up to 1200MHz Mem Bus I am not sure what to do. Can anyone recommend the best 2Gb (2X1Gb) EPP RAM for under $400. Would super high quality DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) serve me better than some mid-high quality PC2 8500?

But have not been able to find half of the RAM listed for sale online.

If I were you I would go with (PC2 6400) 4.4.4.12 timing, unless you are deciding to overlook the machine like crazy.

That the ram you need ,great ram I am still waiting on mine to ship to me ,ever review I have read about them say they overclock great.
