My framerates depend on what I;m doing at the time.

So, when the computer is just idling, it gets about 15 fps. Right now, as I post, it is getting about 40 fps, I guess due to the GALAXY MASTERPIECE series flash ad. Or maybe it's the :captnkill: emoticon.

Or... is it teh (nana2) !!!

Anywho. What are your Vista FRAPS scores? XD. Useless but funny.

Oh, and when the windows goes through their minimize/maximize transitions, it jumps to 30 fps. As do the screensavers. I think I get 60 in aurora though.

I could post videos up, but I don't really know how. XD

Of course what kind of framerate do you need for the windows desktop? :) The framerate probably increases as needed (when an animation plays, etc) and stays low when it doesn't. There's no need to kill my graphics card rendering this nvNews page at 2000fps as I type at 70WPM.

Exactly. XD

Anywho... I'm having driver issues. Couple with the inability to game, I think I'll go back to Server 2003

So thaaaaaat is why Vista consumes about as much power running its GUI as XP. Cool.
