looks prety good but it is a shame there are not fx1000 benchs. :(

right then... can someone explain this to me ?

The memory range of the Radeon 9700 pro is clearly higher with 19,8 GByte per second than with the QuadroFX 2000, which comes only on 12,8 GByte/Sekunde. DDR2 is thus not the decisive point. Rather it depends also on the memory bus width. And is appropriate for only 128 bits with ATi (conventional GDR memory) with 256 bits NVIDIA however made possible despite DDR2.

I thought it was a 256 bit bus for ati v/s a 128 bit bus for nvidia... unless the guys english is so bad I can't figure out what he was saying...

that is just the automated translation, german and english are just very different languages. i read german and they have their facts straight in the orignal text.

well even in the graph though it shows that the quadro is using 256 bit memory bus... thats what is confusing... :(

ohh sure enough, it even shows the old quatro4's at 256bit memory bus. that is just bad reporting there.

but like i said, the part you quoted acutaly gives the correct information when read in the orignal german, it is just the troubles of translation that make it come out the other way. also the "Summary memory architecture" section clearly states 128bit as well.
