I did a downlaod of a program that changes bootskins and not bootskin cuz it does weird BSOD's saying something about Vidstub.sys. But i tried another app which rendered my pc unbootable even in safemode which i thought was strange so i did a repair and now its all good but why does it mess up things like MMC MS manangment console and ms installer tried doing a reistall of ms installer 3 and had to unregister it than do some cmd entries to get to work but everything is good.

I downloaded a bootskin app that rendered my os unbootable. and did a repair but noticed that i had to fix windows installer and MS manangment console needed updating cuz defrag wouldn't work.

Windows uses a bootskin which which we call a logo that tells us windows is loading up basically a banner showing off windows and that banner can be altered by a program like bootskin or other 3d party apps.
Well the inno boot went wrong and rendered my os unbootable. I tried repairing the boot.ini using fixboot fixmbr but had to do a repair of xp.
That went well and was back up and running execpt for a few things i did a reload of the ms dual core fix, drivers for chepset, and i noticed i couldn't do a defrag cuz its a snapin for MMC Microsoft Manangment colsole. I had to reload that and i did windows update and windows installer 3 wouln'dt install right so i had to run command unregister installer and reregister it.
Why would i have to fix ms installer shield and mmc, they are part of service pack 2 aren't they?
Thats what im talking about.
