Anyone have any idea when the lower ranged 8800 cards are coming (8800gt?), and what the specs will be approx?
Will they arrive before xmas??

Before xmas? I highly doubt it. Tho just speculation, I wouldn't expect anything till ATI comes out with their new cards.

Not sure, I don't think anyone is. I would think that they would wait for ATI to release the R600 and see what that brings.

Thatd be funny if they came out with a refresh before Christmas. I don't see how they can refresh a card so fast without even having DX10 drivers for it yet lol.
I think he was referring to the mainstream and lower segment markets. I thought I read somewhere that would be in early 2007.

There's no reason to now...these flagship cards are where a ton of money is at and NVIDIA likely wants to capitalize on that as long as possible.
Can't say I blame 'em. :)
Low to mid range cards are where the big bucks are made. I cant see why they always wait to be honest. I mean look at those steam survey charts. Very few people run top range cards.
As I understand it NV plans to get their refresh cards out in Febuary.
I heard the 8600GT cards will be around febuary march time.

Yeah... the rumour I read somewhere was that the remainder of the 8 series (at least, mid-level cards), will be out Q1 2007.
