ok, what the main difference?
i heard that Gamer Fatal1ty doesn't have 3 seperate modes, does that mean that it use some in middle mode, or is it stuck in games mode?
are there any other differences?
also are there any tweaks to enable the modes?

Only difference is the lack of the front audio bay I thought. Probably not games bundle either. (Assuming the original Fatal1ty had one.)
The three separate modes is all done in software. I just put it in game mode as I like it's control panel the most and set it up to something thats suit all games and music.

i just want some confirmation, and maybe there is some tweak to enable all 3 modes

Ah. I thought only the Xtremegamer was cut down. Not the Xtremegamer Fatal1ty Pro.
I can't confirm or deny it. But I'm sure glad I went with the plain XtremeMusic :)
EDIT: Actually check the website for the XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro
It says there PowerDVD with DTS and DD decoding. So looks like the XtremeGamer series does have a reduced feature set.
Creative really need to stop being so miss leading with the product names. Then again, it's business.
and WTF?! They make you download PowerDVD? It says Internet Connection required?! Or is it just for activation of some sorts?

I've got the XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro and it didn't come with PowerDVD. It has XRAM and all that and even has a higher sampling rate than the older version with the bay (192 vs 96). Not really sure what that means but the card works great and is cheaper. I actually was using the bay from my old Audigy 2 and it worked fine. I've since removed it since I never used the connections.
Here's the pair on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?DEPA=0&type=&Description=soundblaster+fatal1ty&Submit=ENE&N=0&Ntk=all), if you want to compare them.

Why doesn't Nvidia make a sound card so we can get rid of Creative.:rw:
