Has anyone ever downloaded a movie from Direct 2 Drive, I was wondering what Resolution they were at. I mean they state that a 2 Hour movie is over 2GBs so it has to be larger then standard resolution I would think since it doesn't include extras as far as I know...

It depends on what format they are using. If is it just an MPEG-2, then it is probably just standard DVD quality, if not a little lower.

http://www.videohelp.com/dvd I'm not sure if that helps or not, I think it almost confuses me more. They say a DVD can hold 2hrs of video, but it can also hold a bunch of other crap with it.

Um thanks for no help there...

They are using MWV @ 2Mbps but that still doesn't say much about the resolution....

2gb sounds low in terms of quality. Your average DVD movie nowadays takes 7gb, regardless of whether it's 2 or 3 hours. How much is a movie from Direct 2 Drive? It would probably be better to just rent movies since you're getting full dvd quality and you'd also get surround sound and possibly DTS on select dvd's.

Well it depends you can get good DVD quality 1.4 GB using XVID or some other codec.

Edit: If you are lazy why not either use BlockBuster Online, or netFlix ?
