Does the intel work like a AMD does ,where lower timeings is better then higher timeing ,or the main thing how fast you can run your cpu,Is 4-4-4-12-2T at 800mhz or 5-5-5-15-2T at 1000mhz.I have'nt really fiqured out what is the best with this intel chip where it is quad pumped.

megahertz is where its at. ;)

Really, the timings wont make much of a difference. It's better to have your memory running faster. Although you probably wont notice a difference between 800mhz and 1000mhz ram either.

From the tests carried out by review sites katency has the higher impact like AMD pre DDR-2 CPU's. Net bust ach loves bandwith but all other chips only get a small boost.

if u can run your ram at 333x at 900mhz 1T, it'll be faster than 1100 5-5-5-12 at 2T.

yeah but no significant improvements.

Fact is the Core 2 processor is not bandwith staved unlike the P4.

Right now I am running 1:1 with the memory set at 800mhz and the CPU at 1600 and it seem pretty quick but it is running at 3.6gigs the only thing when I start setiing it higher it start haveing different ratios 11:7 2:3 ,I have'nt seen where I set the 266FSB to 333FSB ,I am not that up to date on running intel boards or where it is quad pumped.Looking at that review you don't gain much by spending more money on the higher price ram,It seem best to have it run where it is 1:1 ratio.
