THANKS, i was looking into the PC6400C4 and hoped to get them to the PC8500C5 spec but looks like it won't. I think i will spend the extra 50 and get the PC8600C5 memory.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I bought the Corsair Dominators C4D about 8 days ago thinking that they were Micron D chips. I will be taking the offer to trade up to C5s, as these do use Micron ICs.

I dunno, but they offered me a free upgrade and cross shipping. They will charge my CC for the full amount 349.00$, when they receive mine, they will issue a full credit. Also they will overnight it to me next tuesday. woot

Well then I guess its time to send off an email.

Honestly there is a problem though, I can't even get this memory to run at the advertised settings (4-4-4-12) at 800 w/ 2.1v.

Same here, cant use 800Mhz/4-4-4-12, but runs good at 900Mhz 5-6-6-21-2T. Anyways, soon i'll get the 8500C5D (nana2)

Cool. Do you mind me asking what you originally paid for your C6400D modules? I bought mine from NCIX and paid about$370 for each 2GB kit. I am hoping it isn't going to cost me too much for the upgrade.

I did the cross ship as well but they have yet to arrive. I was told that they were out of stock but that they should arrive some time this week.

I paid 349.00CDN at NCIX. (about 315.00 US). And i still get to keep my 40$ mailing rebate.

Got my memory back from Corsair (8500C5D), they cross-shipped and did not charge me a penny. Outstanding service.

It cost me $34.99 to get my set of PC2 8500C5D Dominator now waiting on my other set, and it is a lot better then that promo stuff,if you was'nt going to overclock then the PC2 6400C4D would be fine ,but the set I got today overclocks great and runs low latacey ,I have the fan on them and it will run at 1200mhz at 2.2v at 5-5-5-15 and at 825mhz I have them set at 4-3-3-3-9

I had to pay only 35 as well.

Everything went smoothly until i actually received my new RAM.

Corsair sent me back the exact same stuff, PC6400C4D v 2.1!!!

I looked at the pack of RAM and said WTF??

I sent an email to Marisol I believe. Hopefully I can get this worked out... soon...
