This week is the time to buy, especially if you have an Office Max and a Circuit City close to you. Office Max is offering the MX700 in their advertisement flyer this week for $49.99, which is marked down from $79.99. Get your hands on a copy of the O-Max ad and take it to your local Circuit City, where they'll price match that, plus give you another 10% of the price difference.

I did that tonight and got my MX700 for $50.16 after tax. I was kind of on the fence about getting this mouse, but for this price I couldn't pass it up.

Now to download the latest Mouseware drivers and charge the batteries. :D

Nice thing about this promotion is that there are no mail-in rebates. The Office Max discount is instant. :D

I hate having to wait for rebates, especially since I've been burned more than once in the past.

Great mouse, I got it based on what various people on this forum and others said about it. The only thing I don't like about it is that I can't assign the two side buttons to lean left and right in Allied Assault. Tried the fixes posted at the Logitech website, no help. Excellent for aiming with though.

Just need to remember to put it in the caddy when I finish using it, I keep forgetting and it's run out a few times in the middle of big firefights. :p

Then may I suggest you invest in a set of these (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3011494985&category=294)? They're rated to last longer than the batteries that ship with the mouse, plus you can keep a second set charged just in case you should happen to forget to put it back in the charger.

Hmmm I'm no expert on the Intellimouse, but I have read people have had some success in binding the mouse buttons to keys, then binding these keys in game, to enable the buttons to work. That's what I'm really hoping Logitech put in their next driver update, as I tried this but it just didn't want to know. Wouldn't surprise me if it was the game though, good old EA.

Thank you sir. Those are spot on, I did wonder if I could get some longer lasting batteries, I have a sweet 3000mAh battery for my airsoft AK47, it makes the world of difference. Now I just need to find a British retailer. :D
