Ok.. cpu specs: 128mb ram, 800mhz p3, 40gig hd partition, geforce4 mx420 64mb card.
I recently installed Debian 3.0, and wanted to configure it for my graphics card. I did nvchooser, then downloaded the drivers it told me to download (the 4191). I unpacked and installed the GLX driver with no problem, but the NVIDIA_kernel one gave me this error:
In file included from nv.c:14:
nv-linux:24: /linux/modversions.h: No such file or directory.
make: *** [nv.o] Error 1
People told me i need the kernel source, so i got the source, and when i tried installing the source, i messed up along the lines. How do i uninstall anything i installed for that, so i can start over? Also, if that isn't the problem, then does anyone know what is?
Also, ive checked the documentations and followed everything step for step. If someone knows what to do can they please guide me through a little?
