8800GTX Gray Screen Problem

Here is the problem I am having CSS and Half Life start up just fine in (DirectX 8) however when I start playing I get a gray and black and white screen see images - I dont get this in other games like FEAR or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare. I am running 97.02 drivers, my system is a 6600 Duo, 680i MoBo, 2GB Ram, 500GB Seagate, and 650W PS so I don't get it... I know there are issues with the drivers I have tried the older ones but I get the same thing

Well the good news is if this only happens in that one game, then hopefully the video card is fine. Have you tried to uninstall then reinstall the game?

Sounds more of a Driver issue have you tried the 97.28 drivers yet? Havn't tried the game myself yet.
