Check it out, we (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/2808043.stm) made it on BBC lol.

Next time I see that old man I am gonna kick his ass I swear! I know where he hangs out too, he is always at the local jelly donut. He is askin' for the beatdown of a lifetime! And so are all these damn protesters! They decide to come when 20,000 of our Marines get deployed. Yeah, wait till they come backhttp://www.envynews.com/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif

Biggest live fire facility in the world. They didn't mention that it is 900 Square miles of crap and is the biggest millitary land installation in the world thank you:D

EDIT: Thanks Proteus for finding this for me:D

Great eNy, because a guy with a sign doesn't support your point of view (which is nowhere near as bad as other things people have said) he needs his a$$ kicked. You do realize in America we have the RIGHT to peacably assemble and protest, you realize this right? Military town or no, if we're not going to abide by the Constitution, what's the point in claiming we're a free country? None. I guess freedom doesn't mean the same thing in your world. Sad

Btw, before you say anything bad about my point of view, keep in mind I've had the pleasure of servicing in America's Air Force for 8 years. I've done my time, defending American's freedoms, have you?

oh god, I guess a little humor has no effect on you.

EDIT: No, I can't say I've served in the air force:rolleyes:

Don't worry man buddy worked as a "forklift tech" while in the airforce. He was never within 200 miles of combat.

BTW some of us can't join the military due to health reasons.

Sorry, guess my sense of humor is rather strained when it comes to these issues. And it's not a matter of serving in any particular branch its the service itself that counts

T6 - Does it matter what capacity I worked in? No. Your example of forklift operator, lets see they get the gear and shove on cargo planes or bombers to be deployed. Hard to fight a war without them. Even if you never see combat, what you do back home counts. Sorry about your health problems but from you that sounds like more an excuse.

I really don't like this attitutude towards people who didn't serve but do support our country and our troops. That is to say that if you didn't serve you have no voice? Then why should we listen to 99% of the anti-war protestors?

I was very left wing in my early twenties. I was also very wrong back then. I am ashamed of my anti-war actions against the first gulf war. I was wrong. Now I 100% support our troops and my president. If this were Clinton whom I disagreed with over 95% of everything I would be cheering right behind him. You do not need to serve in order to be a patriot but if you did server I hold great thanks in my heart for you. So please do not throw it back in our face.

P.S. thank you for your service.

I served as infantry and was lucky enough to get out before Sept 11 (about a month before to be exact) with plenty of new blood I was never reactivated. Anyhow I find there are far too many armchair generals today, it's easy to say bomb, nuke, kick their asses but not too many of the miserable cowards that infest this country put forth effort to do it. I support my troops means **** really. Go enlist (health reasons are a respectable reason not to) if you can and actually DO something and no I don't consider a cook to be doing something.

You were "lucky" to get out before Sept. 11th? What exactly does that mean? You talk about "Arm Chair Generals", yet right when your country was about to need you the most, you consider yourself "lucky" to have left your post?? Please.

Actually quite a few of the people who don't support the coming war are former members of the military. Current members, espcially officers aren't allowed to have an opinion, at least not publically.

Personally, I grew up seeing right wing failures (what HAS Bush done for us, anyway?), and learning that their way was not the way to go. As such in my late twenties, I can say that I'm proudly a left-winger. Now, don't get me wrong, I support our troops, as I will know many of them that are going and a few that have already gone, but I cannot support a President who would push us to the brink of war this way, and claim its for "moral" reasons. That devalues our service more than anything else.

P.S. Appreciated

ASCI -- Trust me, we valued the cooks too! Of course we had AF food, can you say steak, oh that's right Army... MRE's more your taste :)
