How is everyone overclocking their 8800s?

Its been awhile since I've done this and the OC option in the drivers doesn't seem to be functioning right.

The "find optimal" just crashes the system and the test seems to be rather random as to weather it passes or fails.

I did a manual OC with a 3Dmark06 run and it seemed fine but when I rebooted, I was back at stock speeds. Anyway to lock this in?

Use the latest version of Riva Tuner. Works perfectly and you can lock your overclock so that you don't have to keep re-setting it.
