Do we really need ANOTHER Nvidia solution provider?

I dont think Nvidia needs another manufacturer. If OCZ made cards with ATI, then I would actually try out an ATI card. otherwise, theyre not really necessary. But nows almost the perfect time to jump on the bandwagon because of the dx10 hype factor.
OCZ has a great service department too. and their PSU's kick.;)
To stand a chance especially in the USA, they would have to offer at least a lifetime warranty on their cards to compete with XFX, EVGA and BFG. Otherwise they would just be another Nvidia partner.
I can't blame them for wanting to go with Nvidia (if true) but yeah, they have their work cut out for them since there are some pretty popular brands already. Still, I like lots of choices. :)

Can you imagine how killer their cards would OC! :D
They seem to be doing well with their other enthusiast components, so I see no reason that they couldn't be successful with this too.

sweet. I would definetly sell my card just to have an OCZ one.

Exactly the same :) Reference is reference.
Yeah but by the time they market the cards it will have a customer cooler on it.

The reason i dont really see OCZ being that amazing is because they dont have very much experience with videocards and overclocking them... i guess some videocard specialist engineers are gonna get hired soon. SEND YOUR RESUMES! lol.

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to click on "find optimal frequencies".

None of the NVIDIA partners do much on the engineering side of the fence. NVIDIA does almost all of that. The modifications are marginal tweaks from the reference BIOS. And, in the case of the 8800 series, a sticker.
What makes the company is the people, service and culture. EVGA has those covered on all fronts. If OCZ simply matches this model, they could be a contender. Hopefully they do a better job at marketing than other memory makers like Crucial with their video cards or bomb out like they did, prior.

This has been tried already. OCZ had better be careful and study on why Crucial and their 9700 PRO experiment ultimately disappeared.
