I will post some results later today.

This will be one intesive test, testing a game based on the Unreal3 engine. If the 8800 does not have a problem running this game in 1680*1050, 4AA, 16AF and all settings maxed I have to say it was a good investment after all. This is probably the new standard for gaming for the next couple of years. I believe it is the most licensed game engine.

Lets hope it is not as full of bugs and problems on the 8800 as Splinter Cell Double Agent.

My rig is the following.
Intel Core2Duo 6600 @ 3,4 GHZ on aerocool aircooling
2*1024 GB Corsair PC8500 @ 1090 Mhz, 5-5-5-15-2T
EVGA 8800 GTX @ 630 MHZ and 2 ghz
EVGA 680i Mobo

Ok,

So if i understand well, we (8800 gts/x owners) must be prepared to the same artefacts with this game :thumbdwn:

Nice to know : i'll remove this title from my Xmas to-buy list

Well at the moment i am testing a load of games to find problems report them to nVIDIA to get it resolved hopefully all new games won't have these problems as they would of been tested on the GeForce 8800 cards. Current games on the other hand will have problems.

How in the hell can they release a next generation game, and yet it does not support AA and even more surprising, no 16/9 or 16/10 resolution support????

Also to be honest it is not better looking than GRAW yet it is based on unreal 3 engine, and the slowdowns in the games seems to once again be a result of a rushed out game or bad port from Xbox360 just like double agent. Badly optimized, other than that the games seems to rock, hope they release drivers/patches soon.

What is happening to the Tom Clancy games these days!!

The games are now optimised for ATi cards (XBOX360). Kinda like how ports from XBOX was better on nVIDIA cards. Well on the plus side PS3 games
will run better on nVidia cards

Vista will correct these problems and allow smoother porting, just sucks we dont get it sooner

I'm not banking on Vista fixing anything, vista is annoying to use and tbh I can't stand using it already. I really doubt vista is the magic bullet we've been waiting for.
