Maybe he turned of the lights to get better pics? But what a odd question to ask as if watching TV in a dark room is out of the norm.:o

I like to watch football in the dark, and pretty much everything HD. I don't normally have the lights off though. Yes, and it also takes better pics because my camera is horrible...(like a 7 year old 2MP camera that hates the light)

I watch most of my TV in a dark room, but my TV has those ambi-lights which project colours on the rear wall depending on what's on the TV itself. Helps a lot for the eye strain. My friend doesn't even need his glasses to watch my TV in the dark.
Mainly it seems gimmicky until times like seeing the red Blade logo on a black background on screen and having the whole wall light up blood red.

I watch in the dark too, it's especially useful for porno movies when you don't want anyone to see what you are doing.

OT: If you go wireless get a keyboard that allows you to encrypt else you don't need to install a keyboard sniffer from the phishermen's website to loose your PINs and passwords.
BOT: [Back On Topic] I just was at the local store of ***** markt and wanted to look at the new Sony KDL-40X3500 because I'll soon move into an area with cable and building permissions don't allow a satellite dish on the site wall or roof of the building and the Sony seems to be the only one with built-in HD DVB-C support. If anyone out there knows of other sets with built-in HD DVB-C receivers please let me know.
Thanks!

Logitech MX3200 Wireless Desktop, it's encrypted ;)
If it wasn't, I wouldn't be at a large risk though. Living in a one family house in a small village. Massive built house (yeah right, funny Europeans build houses with stones :P). The signal barely makes it through a single wall. ;)

I'm looking to pull the trigger on a large HDTV today. I want to be able to hookup my PC to it.
Is there any tearing? ghosting or video lag?
I see some great "Black Friday" deals but I know the moment I get to the store after waiting on line for hours they will all be gone. Has anyone ever gotten a good deal on BF?
I see the SAMSUNG 50" 1080P Plasma HDTV on Newegg for $2K flat. Good deal?
got the ae2000u setup with 110" screen now, looks amazing, will post pics later.
the basement is still a work in progress
