Hello,
A couple of days ago my computer started to have some display problems (see attached screenshot). At the beginnig it was only a couple of pixels, but know it has become very serious. Sometimes Windows won't even start.
I tried everything that comes to my mind:
- Update driver
- Uninstall, re-install driver.
- Format my HDD, reinstall windows from scratch (I also tried with linux, by the way), update everything once again.
- Update Bios (well, no update was necesary).
I am now completely convince that it has to do with video, since, sometimes, when I take a look at the BIOS I see the same strange display (pixels are bigger, of course).
So, I have three questions:
- Are there any tools I could use to better diagnose the problem.
- Is it possible, for example, to "reset" the nvidia card memory (if the problem if that is that of software o memory)
- Or, should I definetely be looking at a hardware problem (card needs to be replaced)?
Thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.
