I'm interested in building a mini-PC using a mini-ITX motherboard. These motherboards are available with PCI, AGP and PCI Express slots. A main requirement is the ability to use dual monitors on Windows XP. I've researched dual monitor graphics cards and find that almost all should be just fine for my work (MS word, web-browsing, some multi-tasking). Just to give an impression of processing power I need, my 4 year old system using a 32Mb Matrox G450 Dual Head with two 17" LCD's at 1280x1024 resolution works fine for me, although a bit slow when multi-tasking. My main concern is power consumption, because I'd like use a 200W or even small power supply if possible.
Can anyone recommend a card for me? Preferably small(low profile), dual monitor support and fanless. PCI Express is preferable.
An example of something that looks ok the PNY VCQ4285NVS-PCIE-PB Quadro4 NVS285.
