Add me to no Microsoft ;)
I used ubuntu for a pretty long time on my laptop. Linux almost had me...

I'm using Vista RC2 as my main OS. I still dual boot to XP for games...but I don't play games very often right now...so mainly it's Vista.
I plan on getting it when it goes retail but I'm not sure if I'll run it on my primary machine initially. I didn't have a lot of luck trying to game on my 2nd system with RC1 so I'll probably make sure the game support is up to par before getting it for both systems.
Waiting for games support to mature before it becomes your primary OS
Some day I will be. Not in any hurry.
It'll be a few months after release for me, games support and a chance for bugs to be squashed.

Have to say I'll wait till the games come. I just got another copy of winxp pro from zipzoomfly and I want to get my money's worth out of it. I do like vista and have a test system running the rc2. After retail hits and few patches and some drivers for the 8800's + dx10 games I'am there. (nana2)

I am waiting for my copy of vista ultimate to come before I'll start using it. I could just download a pirated one now and use it anyways, but I don't care at the moment since I am just going to have to reformat in a month anyways once I get my new motherboard and CPU.

I hear ya. I'll be activating my rtm's once it goes retail and I can purchase a couple keys.
Waiting......when a good gaming title hits that has decent Vista support as well as solid drivers, then I'll install.I was told yesterday at Uni,we would be able to buy a copy of Ultimate RTM for under 59 dollars by Febuary at the campus pc store,as long as we showed up with our student id in hand. :D
I'll get it once there are some decent drivers for the GTX.

Maybe I'll use it when half year after it goes retail, and I hope at that time all the drivers and software compatibility issues will be solved.
I've tried an RTM Ultimate version these few days, and I'm not happy with it. My printer does not have Vista drivers, and my Audigy2 ZS sounds crappy, and I can't find a good anti virus program to work with Vista. I then reinstalled XP back to my system, and now I'm happy with it.
Maybe Vista will have to take more time than XP to become the mainstream OS, because its predecessor, Windows XP, is not something lousy as Windows 98/ME.

Ah, but some of us were running win2K, from which XP wasnt a very noticable step really, specially without the XP GUI running.
IŽll prolly get it and run a dualboot as soon as the Vista drivers for whatever graphics card Ill be using around then are proven solid enough.

I'll be running it on the test rig for the learning curve . . . prolly even dual booted on the iMac via parallels!
