Beh.

Good: Counter-strike 1.6 can actually run without the screen flickering. yay.

Bad: The Vista screensavers don't work anymore. >_>

Looking at how 1.6 runs, I'm not trying any other games.

Edit: After some coding in Dreamweaver 8, I have noticed a fatal flaw with these ******** drivers. The 'Courier New' font's 'm' is squashed and fugly. ARGH!!! **** you nVidia! Default drivers did not do that!!!

I can't get the file from the first link (version 32 bits) . Sendspace is telling me : "Sorry, the free service in your location is too busy. "

is there any other location where I can get it ?

Guys, maybe you can help me. Everytime I install any drivers other then the 96.33 RC1, I get strange Corruption. I have tried all the drivers posted here since Lord Obsidian started Uling them. Everytime I get corruption with vertical and horizontal out
of sync so bad I have to hard reboot and then revert back to 96.33. I have tried one card only in the machine and still same corruption. I can play COD2 in dx7 with AA off without issues. DX9 suffers with frame rates and AA. But again trying to even be in windows with any other driver other then 96.33 is not possible. Is anyone else having this issue?? Any Advise?

MarcusTaz Have you tried going through the process of removing the drivers with Driver cleaner and then reinstalling. I had some issues with just installing these drivers without using the driver cleaner first. Uninstall the drivers before restarting use driver cleaner and remove any traces of Nvidia. Restart in safe mode and installing the newest drivers. (97.46) Restart and give us the results.
Also have you disabled UAC in the control panel under users.
Actually I found that by disabling it alot of of software will install. You could also try right clicking the Setup file of the driver and select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

Hey jsut noticed Driver cleaner isn't free any more. Send me your email and I will send you the EXE for a version that is was free.

I have not done this method. Each time I tried I upgraded. I will try your method and see if it works and post back. I still have a free version of DC... Will let you know.

Thanks!

Worked like a charm newfiejudd, thanks for the heads up on the uninstall install procedure. Great website here and some very good informative reads.

Well bad news, I thought it was fixed but everytime I try and luanch a game, COD2,GTR-2,Toca3, Quake4, I get the same corruption, yet the pc will run 3d mark 06 latest build 1.01 fine... I do not get it. I am going to try the DX9 Dec release and see if that fixes it and if not will have to revert back to 96.33drivers. I do nopt know what else to do. This is a fresh install, so I know it is not OS corruption. Maybe these beta's are just not compatible with my hardware....
