Hi, has anybody had any luck getting them to work? I've tried nvidias custom timings, powerstrip and nvidias custom timings doesnt work nor does rivatuner, and the advanced options are greyed out with powerstrip.. actually nvidias scaling is also broken.. :(

Do the current drivers just not support this ?

Yes I managed to get custom resolutions worked with the latest driver by use GTF timings, I tried Automatic and Manual timings both didnt worked. :)

Latest being 97.44.. does it not work with 97.02?

All I get with nvidias custom settings is gibberish all over the screen with 97.02. :(

Custom resolutions work here with the 9702 drivers, even in automatic mode, but I had to enter the correct values in the advanced field at the bottom as well because otherwise the test-run didnīt want to finish successfully.

Well that would be difficult since I don't have any idea what to set them to manually.. But the tests don't fail, the screen just looks a mess when it trys to test. Really wish powerstrip was working, now thats easy to use..

You can do it with GTF timings, you really dont need to set the settings as most settings are greyed out, it will work fine like mine.

Well I suggest you to install 96.89 driver and do custom resolutions, test it and when it passed and display correct then you take notes of all timings settings then input all correct settings in the latest driver that what I did 2 years ago with broken custom resolutions in Forceware 70 drivers.

Well rolled back to 96.98 and both scaling and custom resolutions are now working fine well set to auto so i'll stick with these for now..

Thanks for the help ...

I am in the same boat here as you :( Creating custom resolutions with 97.44 are broken! I tried to get 1280x800 for the dell and it will not work.

Weird still using 96.98 and now scaling just stops working sometimes, have to restart to get it to kick it. Also the custom resolution which was working fine the other day just results in black screen and I need to boot last known good config to get windows to boot... lol.. How I love nvidias drivers.. :thumbdwn:
