I'm looking for a DVD - CD/RW combo, can anyone recommend any good ones?

I keep hearing that LiteOn is a great brand. Same for Pioneer. You might want to check into their models.

For combo drives, Samsung is very highly rated.

I don't have any specific model numbers off-hand. But I know Samsung's combo drive with a 32x burner was highly rated. I would expect their higher CD-R speed variants to be the same. Check out CD Freaks (http://www.cdfreaks.com) and CDR Info (http://www.cdrinfo.com) for additional resources.

Here are some specific models to check into, and they are Samsung. I would suggest checking the sites Saturnotaku mentioned, they are definitely worthy. BTW, the links below should be pretty competitive pricewise as I've always found googlegear to have good deals. Good shipping as well.

And while you're there, they have a great price on the Sony DRU500AX burner. If you want to spend some bucks it's a nice drive...
