Have you tried clearing your internet cache?

Also you may want to change the cache settings (not sure where they are in IE7) so that cached pages are updated "always" or "every visit to page" rather than "automatically".

security settings are probably too high. used to have the same problem with firefox, lowered security settings (i actually went in and manually found the culprit) turned it off then my animated GIF's worked again.
