Should be here within 3-4 weeks

My question is this: I run 2 HDDs, an Intel PentiumD (Oced 15% to 3.96 GHz) and I have a 500W PSU. Will I be able to use it without upgrading my PSU?

First of all: Welcome to nvnews (nana2)

Well, it depends on what brand your psu is. Is it a "good" one?

How much juice do you have @ 12V? How many 12v rails (at least 2 with around 2x 18A should be at least i guess)

I for example use a Tagan 600W with 4x 12V@20A - Total 48A@12v

welcome, and yeah, its actually best to have a PSU to have a PCI-E connector cuz it typucally has the right voltage and such for the card :)

Keep in mind you will want a power supply that has two pci-e six pin power connectors for that 8800GTX. Nvidia recommends at minimum a 450W power supply with a 12V rail of 30A, but if you have a system with many other devices drawing on that power, of course you will need more. With the testing we have done here we recommend for optimal performance a power supply with at least 625W and a 12V rail with 30A. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Not really most GTX's come with 2x 2 molex to PCI-E power connectors so he needs 1 PCI-Power conenctor and 2 free molex connectors.
