Downloaded and installed. Seems to help, actually. My system is a bit more responsive.

Then again, its been so slow lately it might just be placebo.

Edit: A very large difference in usability.

Installed both and I see a slight improvment in the overall snapyness of the system.

I see that x64 is not included in this; does that mean they didn't make it for x64, or that it doesn't need it?

I can't say I've noticed any difference after installing this patch. Oh well. :o

I think the only people who are going to notice a difference are those who were having problems. My system is now running as fast as it was before it started screwing up.

:lol2:

You crack me up, man. :D

After I installed my 8800GTX my system started to crawl. It felt like a P3 with 512mb of ram. It was horrible.

It is much, much, much better now.

If anything....I'm....I'm....not nearly as good as you!

Installed the patch and is has helped. Previously once the machine booted and I tried to start explorer the machine would sit there and "think" for about 20-30 seconfds.
After the patch install it fires up exploroer like right now.
