Hi,

I've already seen in these forums, this issue has already been discussed, but no solution work for me.

So, my problem is that my frame rate drops when running in SLI mode, instead of increase.

I have tried both card separately.

I have uninstall and reinstall all the drivers (including nForce and display drivers).

I have a P5N32-SLI Premium motherboard (approved by NVidia on SLIZone) and a 850W PSU (also approved by NVidia), so I don't think it is a HW problem (everything is approved).

I have checked the resistors, both are 40C.

I am using the latest 97.44 drivers.

So, I am a little bit lost. Does anybode have an idea, what the problem could be??

Hi there,

welcome!

First, it would help if we had your total system specs, what res you play at, games this happens in and maybe a screenshot of the problem.

It sounds like a power supply problem when you run one it works and when you go to SLI it draws more power so it reverts to slowing down the cards cores ,but with a 850watt power supply yhay should'nt be the problem,Have you tried the other drivers ,97.02 and 97.28 to see if you get the same results.

no, i haven't tried the other drivers yet.

my system is a core 2 duo E6600, 2gb ram, Thermaltake Toughpower 850 Watts PSU.

The issue appears with any Direct3D 9 software, like 3DMark06 for instance.

I am going to try the other drivers versions
