View Full Version : 97.46 out via Windows Update - Win Vista

Just thought I'd post it here.
This just confirms my fears. I've been hoping that while the versions that they leak are crap, they secretly have a fully working version that only needs a bit more tweaking.
If they are sending this to Microsoft to be released on Windows Update, then they don't have any better version. The latest leaked driver is 97.52 and it's dated 13.Dec.2006 and its terrible... and it looks like they don't have anything better.

The one in windows update has less tearing and artifacts than the leaked one. Maybe I don't know how to install drivers and windows does... ???

I was already running 97.46 (leaked, I guess) and nothing shows up new in Windows update. But I'm not seeing any new issues with this driver. Works pretty good other than no Sli.

It seems to. The screen blanks out twice.

I think it works if you still have the original driver included with Vista install.
RTM = 96.98 I think.
