FX5200 and vista

Im trying to run vista with an fx5200, however the drivers built into windows seems rubbish, they wont even play a dvd at a decent rate without ****tering and skipping.

I've also tried the beta ones from nvidia.com but they came out in october and seem to be just as bad.

Has anyone else managed to get a 5200 to work decently in vista RTM or is it just a waiting game for new drivers?

Turn Aero Glass off? Somehow I think that 5200 is going to give very poor performance with Vista.

But hopefully I am wrong and it's only a matter of needing more mature drivers.

You are right! FX5200 IS CRAP!

I'm running FX5200, not in Vista yet, but soon. I did read up on it and it is supposed to be able to run in Vista, so I'm thinking it's drivers also.

I don't think that the fx5200 is crap, it works great for me in heavy duty 3d apps.
